I had DS surgery late July and didn't get my energy back for about 3-4 months.
I did have some problems taking it easy though. I am guessing I should have slowed down more at the beginning but hubby was away for work.
Good job. I also love this site it is so informative, without the negativity I've seen on other sites. I am new here but have learned so much already. My DS is brand new and plan on staying on here forever. this forum seems more like a family.
I flew home yesterday and everything went great. A little pain from air pressure, but not too bad. My mood is very low today I feel blah.. I have not lost any weight yet either Is this normal at this point. I am 8 days out.
2 days out pain is still there but not as bad. No nausea
Surgery went pretty good but he found something on my intestine it was like an extra appendix can't remember right now what it was called? He took it off and Sent it for a biopsy just in case. Classic DS so all is good.
I am having the it done at
Dr. Gagner's clinic and you go to a Hotel with a nurse for another day. Then you stay at the hotel for another 5 days. Hopefully no hydration problems. Fingers crossed
Tomorrows my day. Can't believe it's here already. Scared , worried about the pain. They better have good drugs after. Only in hospital one night then off to hotel.
