    Post Op Pancreatitis

Thank you all so much for chiming in. I’ve been having issues on and off for a couple of years now. When it started I thought I was crazy- having gall bladder attacks after my gall bladder was removed. I spent a lot of time and had a lot of tests at Mayo last year to really find that I...

    Post Op Pancreatitis

Just curious if anyone has suffered from chronic pancreatitis post-DS. The recommended diet is very fat restrictive (<30g/day). I’m not a religious Macro Counter but I this still seems super low. Restrictions also recommended was low fat/non fat dairy— No mayo and no butter. Full fat...

    Sunday Weigh In (4/5/2020)

TW 154 holding steady between 150-157. Body fat up to 18%! Which was a big goal for me for Fertility. So not just enjoying the time at home with the hubby and seeing if this body fat level helps make a baby. :-)

    Sunday Weigh In (2/16/2020)

LW 152 TW 145 was hoping to hang onto the few extra pounds from last week, but looks like it was the normal water fluctuation. Headed to Switzerland for a couple of weeks where I’m sure I’ll indulge in too many carbs, coffee and wine- I did pick protein bars, as hitting my protein goal seems...

    Sunday Weigh In (2/9/2020)

LW 144 TW 152 it’s a big jump in a week but I’m not too excited, my “normal” seems to fluctuate from about 140-155 , especially round my period. I AM trying to gain a little right now at the obgyn request to get my body fat % up to ideal for making babies. But again- not getting excited...

    Sunday Weigh In (1/12/2020)

LW 143 TW 141 It’s been a good week- back to the swing of things with yoga in the morning and strength training in evenings. Keeping the water intake up and limiting the caffeine. Just trying to reset the routine after the hectic holidays

    Sunday Weigh In (1/5/2020)

    Sunday Weigh In (9/29/2019)

TW. 147 It’s been quite some time since I checked in.. but I’m still playing with the same 5-10lbs (last weighin was somewhere between 142-152.— this seems to be where my body wants to be. Had some really bad labs out of nowhere and actually got rid of all my vites and started a new routine...

    Sunday Weigh In (6/9/2019)

Had full set of labs early May. Everything looked pretty good - iron serum was on the high side, but not alarming and ferritin was also at the very high end of normal. D and Calcium were both low (same ones I’ve been struggling with since pre-op. A1C was less than 3. They actually sent it...

    Sunday Weigh In (6/9/2019)

LW 148 TW 147 Staying steady on the weight front. Still feeling tired and struggling with low blood pressure and blood sugar— it’s preventing me from enjoying some of the nice weather a bit (lots of naps). But all in all. Not doing too bad

    Sunday Weigh In (5/26/2019)

Last weigh in (about a month ago) 147 Today 148 Had surgery a week ago to have some endometriosis removed- while in there they confirmed that my colon distended and redundant (aligned with a CT I had a couple of months back). Not sure if the ends removal is going to relieve the pain or if I...

    Sunday Weigh In (3/3/2019)

LW 146 TW 151 In Arizona enjoying some warm weather and spring training baseball with the hubby this week. I wish I could say the weight gain is from all sorts of delicious ball park food, but unfortunately it seems to stem more from constipation than anything else- which still has me in the...

    Sunday Weigh In (2/24/2019)

Different scale today which showed a slight drop, but ultimately I’m still hanging around 146 +\- 2 lbs. no real change

    Sunday Weigh In (2/10/2019)

LW 145 TW 146 Still staying steady. Food has not been so appealing the past week or so. Everything is just- meh. Not sure if it’s the weather, hormones, a combination or what. But I’m focusing on protein and vitamins and whatever else goes down is just an added bonus.

    Sunday Weigh In (1/20/2019)

My D has always beeen around 20-25ish. It’s currently at 18. I do biotech dry 50000 2/day and a d2 2x a week also. I just upped the d from daily to twice about 4 weeks ago The zinc and copper aren’t crazy low- copper is lower than zinc. (Copper is at 60 lab ref is 80-155. Zinc is 51 ref...

    Sunday Weigh In (1/20/2019)

LW 146 TW 146 Staying pretty study Lab work came back. My D has been a continuous battle even pre-op- no change there. And this round has my copper and zinc are low and, as expected, my A1C is <3.5. Other than that my blood is looking beautiful

    Sunday Weigh In (1/13/2019)

LW 150 TW 146 Back to “normal”. With the exception of side effects of Augmentin which are lingering around a bit. I enjoyed the 5 days of smell-free poo, but smell has returned now so I’m hoping the firm returns shortly. This drug tore me up pre-op, but it destroyed me after the DS.

Low total carb high fat protein bars..

I have a friend who eats “dang” bars and loves them I like the power crunch bars. They aren’t crazy high protein, but I can a fault get the whole bar in before losing interest unlike some of the more dense bars If you don’t have issues with dairy- Ricotta cheese can be a great snack- I’ll...

    Tespo Vitamin Pods

has anyone used these either as primary or supplemental vites? I read some good things, but then looking at the levels in them I’m skeptical. I struggle with levels on my pill form and tried the patches (worked alright for me, except for A/D and calcium) These make claims of superior...
