I didn't have reactive hypoglycemia but I had extreme hypoglycemic episodes due to an insulinoma. Sweets are difficult for me, I often feel nauseous after eating them. Simple carbs on the other hand don't cause that to happen.

What a journey you've had! I'm so glad that your levels are good and that Dr K was able to "fix" you. And that your weight is holding steady. Dr K shared what my CC, AL, and BPL were from my BPDS. He said he was surprised I lost as much weight as I did. But this is about YOU :dancing biggrin...

I'm so happy that you're heading in the right direction! Give yourself the weekend to rest, and then start focusing on your job situation....I know that's really easy advice... and that it's hard to follow... but try really hard to rest and relax. Stressing doesn't help.

Today I was called by Dr Rabkin and I had a video conference with Dr Keshishian. Both recommend that I not pursue getting a DS redone. When OHSU reversed my BPDS they reversed everything. Dr K said we would have to do a complete DS, not just a reversal of a reversal. He also described my insides...
