This is just crazy! My original surgeon did want me to do the SADI. She told me it was new. Then switched to Dr. Sudan. He said DS only for me. I wonder if they sometimes use us just to "see" what will happen?

Publish or perish don't you know! SADI is easier and faster for the surgeon and there are fewer long term issues with deficiencies. They ASSUME this is true and set out to prove it with studies. And the patients will suffer.

Must admit I don't know how they are getting around the issues with insurance fraud. SADI etc is experimental and insurance will not pay. And if they are coding the OPS as DS, they are committing fraud.
