Will be my third ureteroscopy.

There are two-smallish things that may or may not be stones. He'll know when the camera gets there. Then there's a 6.5 mm blocking tbe ureter, one 4 mm IN the kidney and a couple smaller ones, too.

Doctor says it is urgent and wants me in ASAP.

So, narcotics...

my go-to is 10mg Hydrocodone, but that ain't cuttin' it. (I also have 5's and 7.5's on hand.)

and

I have Oxycodone, 5 mg

and

I have Hydromorphine, 2 mg and 4 mg.

I don't have many of either (all leftovers from previous stones), but I only have to last until Friday. I'm NPO after midnight Thursday.

I'm hurting so much that the Dilaudid...hydromorphone...is calling my name. But I don't want to overdo it.

Ow indeed!
Ya know, Spiky, there is something that just became legal here in CA that might or might not be helpful with your pain management...just sayin.

And it helped...a bit. (Old Rx...lol...I don't know where to go for it now. I'd better look around.)

Uro's office called...he says I can go with Dilaudid or Percocet. I took the 4mg Dilaudid and I'm waiting for it to work.

Bad news: Goofy old woman seems to have access to lots of opioids.
Good news: The above means that the goofy old woman is usually conservative about taking said drugs.

Also, this morning, I fell out of the car while trying to take a picture of six foot tall, red, yellow and green metal chicken wearing a red top hat and covered with Christmas lights. And that was BEFORE any drugs...legal or illegal.

are you OK to go shopping? medical or recreational, you might be able to get it delivered.

wishing you healing and pain relief!! :5grouphug:

omg you poor thing. It makes me nauseous just to read about that many stones. Just go straight to the dilaudid. I've recently added whole ground organic lemons to my list of kidney stones must haves, but I'll bore you with the holistic stuff on a later post when you are feeling better.

Too bad my SIBO/IBS-D diet precludes anything that isn't mush.

Uro agreed that there IS no diet for me...I need a professional supervising my diet.
