Hormone Replacemement Therapy

SB - is the "D" grade meaning that recommending against HRT is bad? and why are you posting at 5 in the morning!!

on re-read, the D means the HRT itself is bad. right?

I'm so confused. I know I stopped taking hormones but they never were "balanced" :frown:

Perhaps I didn’t fully understand. It seems to say if you don’t have a uterus and take estrogen there are a bunch of good reasons to do so.
On the other hand there is a maybe sort of 2 crummy things.

Bottom line a bunch of men are recommending against hormone replacement.

I have been on an estrogen patch for 20 years and see no reason to stop.
My DS doc told me to get off them, I shook my head yes and totally ignored that advice.

Forgot to answer this part.

Because, every other week, MiniSue's Boyfriend/Meaningful Other/Roommate has custody if his 7-year-old daughter. And, most days he drops her off here at 6:00 am, because he has to be at work by 6:30 and the day care at school doesn't start until 6:45. We feed her, demand two full minutes of tooth brushing, I review homework and enforce corrections and IF ALL THAT IS DONE, we let her play on the Wii. Then Mr. Sue walks her to school...two blocks away...and that helps him get started on his required daily walk.

To function at that level by 6:00, we need a real head start...so, alarms go off at 4:30.

That's why I'm here early some mornings.
