2 years later.......

I know @Larra. If I do go it it won't be related to wls. Dr. K doesn't have to tell me twice he's going to lengthen my common channel.

I'm doing okay, C. Just a bit tired these days but hanging in there. I'm doctor-free until Dec 3, so that's nice.

My cousin's surgery went really well, believe it or not, she is back to work this week and the mass was benign, so once her swelling is gone and hair grows back she should be good as new with no worries about future brain tumors. Huge relief there! And my uncle's funeral was cause for a number of cousins on the other side to connect when we hadn't been in touch for years (I am the baby of the family so many are 10-20 years older than I am). For example, it turns out my cousin Patsy is now living Kollum, India on ashram and her sister, Cousin Cindy is in San Francisco - which I was slated to visit earlier this year - I would have been just a few miles from her home and not even known it. Now I have a new place to stop if I go to the west coast.

So what seemed like curses turned out to be blessings as the expression goes.

Hope you are feeling better these days! You look fabulous dahling!

@Jen-2 thanks. The hair is a wig. You may not know but last year when I got sick I lost all my hair like Kojax bald. So wigs until my hair grows back.
I remember. We had a thread about it w @Elizabeth N. where links to wigs were posted and we all chimed in on the ones we liked. Didn't you also get a sassy shorter one? You handled losing your hair so well and it's great to see you proudly rocking those wigs! I remember thinking that if I lose my hair too I hope I can have the same attitude you did. You have an amazingly positive attitude for someone who has been through so much in the past 2 years!!

Yes, En got to purchase some blond short styles. It's cold right now so I'm trying to wear as much extra as I can to stay warm...hair imcluded. Lol

Wow! You look fabulous!
Love your nails... I'd love to have long nails but I can't type once they're longer than about 1/2" from the tips of my fingers *sigh*

@BebeZed I type all day. I can't type without the but on high school I learned to type with tip of nails in typing class. I've worn my nails long over 25 years. They only troubles I have swiping credit cards, picking up cards and change from flat surface and buttoning little kids clothes. Lol

@BebeZed I have trouble with the square shaped nails and typing also, but have no trouble typing with "coffin" shaped or "stilletto" shape. Maybe try those:thumbsup: I love nails, and type all day for work ;)

I am impressed! I truly wish I could teach myself to do that but I've had nails for the better part of 8 years now and I just can't seem to get used to them. Kudos! They really look great!

Omgosh you look amazing! You give me inspiration to change out of my snugly fleece pants into something more fashionable. Well, it's cold today, so maybe tomorrow. I see you were standing by a gas fire in one pic - the price you need to pay to not freeze to death for beauty.
