Robs477 surgery tomorrow, 2/10

No news yet. I hate waiting! Robs was supposed to be the second case of the day, so you never know when surgery will begin, let alone end. I'll keep checking my email for any word.

@southernlady me too! I'm keeping busy with stuff I should do more often and checking email frequently. No word yet.

@newanatomy he's in TX, so CST. It's about 4 pm there now (2 pm for me out here in CA).

Robs will be having his surgery tomorrow and I will be his angel. His wife has my email address and I will let everyone know as soon as I hear anything.
Robs has become a vital and much loved member of our growing group and I'm sure everyone will be wishing him a safe and successful surgery, as easy recovery, and a COMPLETE and hopefully laparoscopic DS.

I was the second surgery of the day too - didn't get back to my room until nearly 6 PM, and that was with Robert Rabkin, who was very skilled, but the first person of the day took longer than expected (my surgery started 3 hours late - the first surgery was so long, they needed to get lunch in between), and he spent an extra hour going after my retrocecal appendix. I'm sure Rob's wife is going to make sure other family members are notified first, and probably until after he is safely ensconced in his room.

Great news!
I just heard from Trish that Robs is out of surgery and DID get his full DS! Everything went fine and he hopes to be posting himself by Thursday or Friday. I told her that that can wait, let him just focus on his recovery now.
